We appreciate that it's difficult to know the situation months ahead but we have put below some information on our cancellation policy due to COVID-19 so that you can book with peace of mind.  In all cases we would do our best to help you in any situation so please contact us as soon as possible should you need to cancel or change your dates.


1.   All bookings for the 2021/2022 ski season,  are 100% fully refundable if travel is not permitted because of border closures due to Covid - 19  Government restrictions on travel.  This is for accommodation, airport transfers, lift passes, equipment and ski rental.  All refunds will be made within 72 hours.

Covid Regulations - below is the latest information as we understand it.  Please check your government website for informartion before travel

NEW UPDATE FOR CHILDREN ENTERING ITALY AND FOR SKI LIFTS

Children 0- 5 - exempt

Children 6 -11 travelling with their vaccinated parents only need a negative antigen test to enter Italy within 24 hours of arrival or a PCR test within 48 hours, and don't require anything else for the ski lifts. (i.e no vaccine required)

Children 12-17 travelling with their vaccinated parents only need a negative covid test to enter Italy or a PCR test within 48 hours plus a single dose of a recognised vaccine at least 15 days before arrival to access the ski lifts, restaurants and accommodation

WHAT ARE THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS FOR ENTERING ITALY?

RULES FOR ENTERING ITALY UNTIL 31.01.2022:

To enter Italy, in case of stay or transit from countries on List C in the last 14 days the following is required:

  • a) a EU Digital COVID Certificate must be exhibited or equivalent certificate attesting vaccination or healing from Covid-19 within the last 6 months.*
    b) a negative result of a molecular test (carried out 48 hours prior to entry) or antigenic test (carried out 24 hours prior to entry into the national territory must be shown.
  • c) the Digital Passenger Locator Form must be compiled.

* For entry into Italy, the vaccine is valid for nine months from the completion of the primary vaccination cycle. In case of administration of the booster dose following the primary vaccination cycle, the validity is nine months from the date of the same administration. From 1st of February 2022 the duration of the green pass with vaccination is reduced from 9 to 6 months.

**IMPORTANT: For the unvaccinated or not recovered, in addition to the swab, a 5-day quarantine is foreseen.
In case of failure to present the vaccination certificate, it is mandatory to:
a) undergo fiduciary isolation and health surveillance (informing the competent ASL to activate the surveillance) at the address indicated in the dPLF, reachable only by private vehicle, for a period of five (5) days.
b) undergo a molecular or antigenic test conducted with a swab and a negative result
c) carry out a further molecular or antigenic test, conducted with a swab, at the end of the five (5) days of isolation.


ENTRY OF MINORS

MOLECULAR OR ANTIGEN TEST
From 0 to 5 years (minor than 6 years of age): always exempt from carrying out the molecular or antigenic test.
From 6 to 17 years (minor than 18 years old): mandatory molecular or antigenic test, if required by the applicable legislation based on the travel history in the 14 days prior to entry into Italy.

ISOLATION
From 0 to 17 years old (minor than 18 years old), they are exempt from isolation if accompanied by a parent with adequate vaccination or recovery certification 



LIST D
To enter Italy, in case of stay or transit from countries on List D in the last 14 days the following is required:

1. a EU Digital COVID Certificate must be exhibited or equivalent certificate attesting vaccination (no certificate of recovery or swab test is allowed).
2. the Digital Passenger Locator Form must be compiled.
3. a negative result of a molecular or antigenic test, carried out by means of a swab, upon entry into Italy, in the 72 hours prior to entry into the national territory.
The 72 hours are reduced to 48 hours for entry from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (including Gibraltar, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and British bases on the island of Cyprus and excluding territories not belonging to the European continent).

EXEMPTIONS
These provisions do not apply to those who fall under the conditions of exemption as set out in Article 51(7) Dpcm March2,2021. See the Exemptions section!

WHAT IS THE GREEN CERTIFICATION / EU DIGITAL COVID CERTIFICATE AND HOW DO I GET IT?

 

THE EU DIGITAL COVID CERTIFICATE / GREEN PASS / GREEN CERTIFICATION was born on the proposal of the European Commission to facilitate the free and safe movement of citizens in the European Union during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a digital and printable (paper) certification, which contains a two-dimensional barcode (QR Code) and a qualified electronic seal.
The EU Digital COVID Certificate issued in a Member State of the European Union or in a third State following a vaccination validated by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), is recognized as equivalent. 


FROM 06.12.2021 TO 30.03.2022 FOR ACCESS TO SEVERAL ACTIVITIES, THE SUPER GREEN PASS WILL BE IN FORCE THAT CERTIFIES ONE OF TWO CONDITIONS:
• anti COVID-19 vaccination within the last 9 months* 
• be cured of COVID-19 within the past six months
*For those who receive the 1st dose of the vaccine, the green certification will be valid from the 15th day after administration until the next dose. From 01.02.2022 the validity of the vaccine is shortened from 9 to 6 months.
Rapid antigen test or molecular test (PCR) performed within the last 72 hours are not valid for the SUPER Green Pass


The SUPER GREEN PASS is mandatory from the age of 12

 

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS FOR THE SKI AREA?

AFTER 10.01.2022:
- SUPER GREEN PASS mandatory to access all lifts
- super green pass is not compulsory for children under 12 years
- surgical mask mandatory for all ski lifts and chairlifts without lowered bubble from 6 years of age
- FFP2 mask mandatory for all cable cars and chairlifts with lowered bubble from 6 years of age
- Capacity reduced to 80% for cable cars and chairlifts with lowered bubble (no restrictions on other lifts)
- No skipass limits (reservation not required)
- Social distancing
- no mask is mandatory during descent (sport activity)

It is recommended that you have a paper version of the green certificate with you as mobile phones may run down due to low temperatures.
 

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS FOR THE  ACCOMODATION FACILITIES?

 

AFTER 10.01.2022:
Guests of an accommodation facility (hotel,apartment or camping) must show a SUPER GREEN PASS to access the facility.

IMPORTANT!
The green certification must be valid during the time of the whole stay.
The Green Certification is not required for children up to 12 years and for subjects with exemption on the basis of suitable medical certification.

 

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS FOR BARS, RESTAURANTS AND MOUNTAIN HUTS?

 

AFTER 10.01.2022
SUPER GREEN PASS mandatory to access bars and restaurants open to the public with indoor AND outdoor service.

 

CAN I DRIVE THROUGH SWITZERLAND AND AUSTRIA?

AUSTRIA
For transit through Austria, registration and presentation of a certificate is not required. Please note that in the event of a check, it must be possible to demonstrate that it is actually a transit only. For more information click here!

SWITZERLAND
Transit in Switzerland with entrance in Italy follows the same rules as published in the faq "WHAT ARE THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS FOR ENTERING ITALY?"  
Stay or stop in Switzerland requires a PCR test

WHAT WILL CHANGE AFTER 10.01.2022?

 

Starting from 10.01.2022 and for the moment until 31.03.2022 ,the SUPER GREEN PASS will also be mandatory for:

- hotels and accommodation facilities
- parties after civil or religious ceremonies
- festivals and fairs
- convention centers
- outdoor catering services
- all ski lifts, chairlifts and cablecars
- swimming pools, swimming centers, team sports and wellness centers, even outdoors
- cultural center, social and recreational center for outdoor activities
- means of transport including local or regional public transport


You only need to complete the entry form for Switzerland in one of the following cases:
1. you arrive in Switzerland by plane
2. you have a stop o stay in Switzerland

We remind you that to reach Livigno avoiding the transit in Switzerland it is possible to pass through the Foscagno Pass.

Notes

Payments must be up to date as per our terms & conditions (point 3.7) 

If rules change regarding unvaccinated people which prevents travel or entry into Italy or use of the ski lifts or accommodation, refunds are not possible.  Only if the borders were closed due to covid a refund would be possible

 

Other updates

Helmets are compulsory for under 18's - this was previously under 14's but will change from the start of the current season

All guests must have insurance that covers 3rd party liability and winter sports
